Along with Toyota Co., there are many companies related to car industry in Aichi. There are 4600 Buddhist temples, more than any other prefectures. One of those temples, Konren-ji has the national treasure Mida-dou, which is a building in the middle of Kamakura period. Inuyama-jo and joan is also registered as the national treasure. Also the symbol of Nagoya-jo, kin shachi is famous too. There many famous local foods such as kishimen, hitumabushi, miso stewed udon.
