Ishikawa is famous for traditional craft. There are Wajima-nuri, a lacquerware decoratively covered with lacquer, Kutani ware, a painted porcelain, Kagayuzen, a kimono with similar design as Kutani ware, and Kanazawahaku, which produces 98% of the gold foil in Japan. In the center of Kanazawa city, there is Kenroku-en, which is one of the 3 best Japanese gardens as tourist spot. Local food is "kabura sushi", a nare-zushi made with yellowtail and radish preserved in salt.
