Mie

There are the Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range in Mie. Also, thre are Ise Jingu (Ise Grand Shrine) that used to be top Shinto shrine in Japan. Not only the tourist spot but also Mie is famous for its Sinju raising, known as high quality since old times hijiki, high quality ise shrimp, and brand beef Matsuzaka beef. "Tekone susi" is famous local food.
