Japan Football Association (JFA)

JFA is an organization which unifies, spreads and promotes football in Japan, contributing to the Japanese people's both mental and physical health.
JFA hosts Japan Professional Football League (known as J-League), Japan Football League, Japan Women's Football League (known as Nadeshiko League), the Emperor's Cup All-Japan Soccer Championship Tournament, the All-Japan Women's Soccer Championship Tournament, and other official football competitions.
The logotype of JFA is the three-legged bird from Chinese mythology, symbolizing the god of the sun. In Japanese mythology, the three-legged bird (named Yatagarasu) guided and helped Emperor Jimmu' migration to the east.
In its official flag, yellow and blue signify justice and youth respectively, expressing JFA's great intention to follow justice with its youthful energy.
