Tokyo Marathon

Started in 2007, the Tokyo marathon is a large scale public marathon competition. The entry draw ratio is very high, and just participating in the marathon is very difficult. Only a few years have passed since its birth, and yet it has already become a marathon admired by runners, and has received top grade status. Just picture 30,000 runners, it is overwhelming. The marathon course is a condensed tour of Tokyo, going past the Imperial Palace, Tokyo Tower, Ginza, Nihonbashi, Asakusa’s Kaminarimon, and Tsukiji.
