There are many dagashi varieties. Karumetou is a brown sugar cake that is also known as Karumeyaki. Mizuame is a sticky liquid sugar candy. Umai-bou is a puffed, corn snack that comes in many flavors. Tirol Chocolate is a bite sized dagashi that has many variations and flavors such as milk chocolate and mocha. Kinako-ame is a soft mochi-like candy covered in soybean powder that is like a lottery. If you win "当たり" by finding a red mark on the tip of your toothpick, you can get another one. Fugashi is a brown-sugary snack bar made out of baked batter. Sosu Senbei are thin wafers that are eaten with Worcestershire sauce. Awadama is a fizzy soda candy that pops and fizzes in your mouth like soda. Dice Caramel is a box that has a dice appearance that contains caramel inside and was popular around the Showa Period (1927). Morocco yogurt is a powdered fruity candy that is usually in a small plastic replica of a yogurt jar. Sakura mocha is a chewy fruit jelly that comes in a small tray with miniature square compartments that hold the candy. It usually comes with a toothpick to pick out the mocha bits and comes in many flavors.
