Tokyo National Museum
The Tokyo National Museum opened in 1872 when an exhibition was held at the Yushima Seido Confucian shrine in Tokyo. The Tokyo National Museum collects, preserves, restores, and displays art, archaeological objects, and other cultural properties from Japan and across Asia.
