Jochiji Temple

Jōchi-ji Temple is the fourth great Rinzai temple of Kamakura. To mourn the death of his third son, fifth regent to the shogunate Tokoyori Hōjō, along with his wife and child nurses, opened Jōchi-ji. It is well-known for the flowers that bloom there, including bellflower, Japanese anemone, daffodil, tree peony and others.
