Shiraito Waterfalls
- Published 2010.7.13
Chosen as Japan’s number one waterfall, the Shiraito waterfalls are supplied by Mount Fuji, and have a height of 20 meters and a width of 200 meters. It stands beside another waterfall called Otodome Falls, and both together are famous for sightseeing. This waterfall, a natural monument, streams for ten kilometres from the water source, melted snow from Mount Fuji. Out of all of Japan’s waterfalls, one as wide and as large as Shiraito Falls is very rare.
