- Published 2010.7.13
The Bannaji Temple is situated next to Ashikaga School, and has a history of over 800 years. It is shaped like a square, with earthen walls, the area extending to approximately 40,000 square meters. Even now it is possible to experience a samurai residence from the Kamakura period, and enjoy cherry blossoms in the spring, and autumn leaves in the fall. It is also called the “Great Sun” by the local citizens.
