Asakusa Shrine

Asakusa Shrine stands on the right of Seisou-ji. Every May, Sanja Matsuri is held here, one of the Three Great Festivals of Edo, Tokyo. Usually, there are worshippers visiting and even weddings are held. On the premises of the shrine, sometimes there is monkey trainer in the early morning and depending on the season there may be geisha or holding a tea party.
