Kan’on-ji Temple’s mud wall
- Published 2010.7.13
The area around Yanaka has many temples, situated in areas that were planned in the Edo period. Kan’on-ji was moved from Kanda in 1680 to where it stands now. The small paths around this temple have walls made from mud and tile, giving the area an appearance of little Kyoto, and is another famous walking spot.
