Calligrapher: Norihito Ishikawa

Norihito Ishikawa is a calligrapher raised in Handa city, Aichi prefecture. He started his calligraphy career in 1st grade of elementary school. After he graduates college, he experienced dentist business management consulting and IT consulting, and became entrepreneur. As he working on his own company, he quit from its business and started new career with calligraphy. Nowadays, he make his works in public, also he owns studio in Omotesando, Tokyo.
He initiates to give off abundant Japanese cultures through Shodou calligraphy. He started up “Japan Culture Association” with Japanese Tea Ceremony (Sadou) expert, and working for popularize Japanese cultures such as Shodou and Sadou to the world. Also, he is working brand consulting and marketing for traditional industries such as calligraphy brush.
Ishikawa is of course well versed in calligraphy, but he also has a profound knowledge of “Kaoh”, a sort of signature opens up your luck. He has certificate of mastery in his school of Kaoh, “Tenshin-ryu”. He can create Kaoh too.
Norihito Calligraphy Studio
Ishikawa have his own studio in Omotesando, Tokyo. He provides hands-on course too for ¥1,500 / 1 hour.
