There are 54 different restaurants and stores selling foodstuffs and miscellaneous goods in this shopping center. It has also become famous due it being a stage for Asahi TV`s morning drama, “Himawari.” On the way to Nippori station, you can find the “Sunset Stairs.”
Ten yen manju (steamed bun with filling)
On Yomise Street which intersects the shopping center there is a store called “Yanaka Fuku Marumanju” which makes and sells manju. They come ten in a pack. (with box: 105 yen – without box: 130 yen)
Menchi Katsu
The top ranked food at Yanaka Ginza Shopping Center, for 147 yen, you can purchase a meat-filled juicy katsu.
Apple Pie
This store originally started making their apple pies for children, using no preservatives or synthetic colours. Sold for 315 yen each, the pies are made with a light custard cream and Shinshu apples.
