Kyushu

Kyushu is south west island of four main islands in Japan. Prefectures of Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima belong to Kyushu. Historically, due to its geographical traits, they have been a gate way for China and Korea and historical spots relate to it are scattered in Kyushu. Kyushu has some active volcanoes such as Aso Mountain, Unsen Fugan Dake Mountain, and Sakura Jima Mountain. Beside these volcanoes, there are famous hot springs too. This region has many islands such as Tsushima, Iki, Goto Rettou Isalands, Satsunan Shotou Islands (Yaku-shima, Tane-ga-shima, Amami Oshima, and etc.).
