Sapporo Marathon

The Sapporo marathon is the largest one in Northern Japan with over 10,000 participants every year. Several different races are available, including a beginners 5km course, and a course for children. As expected of the number of runners, the starting line at take off is a sight to be seen.
Tourist locations
Sapporo is already known as a tourist hotspot, with plenty of places to entertain and enjoy the cuisine. Places such as Sapporo dome, Sapporo TV, and Susukino are a must, and of course it is recommended to try Sapporo ramen, genghis khan (a dish with mutton and vegetables), and fresh fish from the north.
