The Former Headquarters Office of the 4th Division

It was a building belonging to the Japanese Imperial Army in the form of a European castle. Like the Keep of Osaka Castle, it was built by donations from Osaka citizens. After the war, it became the Osaka Police Department office, and was used as Osaka Municipal Museum until 2001.
