Toyokuni Shrine

Known as the symbol of Osaka and Toyotomi Hideyoshi’s prosperity. It started to be constructed at the site of Osaka Hongan Temple in 1583 by the order of Toyotomi Hideyoshi who was aiming to unify the whole Japan. You can give a sweeping view over the whole city of Osaka from the observatory on the 8th floor. 1 to 1.3 million people visit each year.
