One of the three types of honeywort differentiated by cultivations. It has shorter and thicker stalk than the other two, Ito-mitsuba and Kiri-mitsuba, and can be shipped with its roots on. It has a unique flavor and taste and is served with egg soup, boiled vegetables, vinegared dishes, or other types of soup.
